Møre is the coastline of Møre og Romsdal, so Earl Møre would defend the people of this area, as their commander and represent them to the king, possibly also to other kings and earls. Ragnvald Earl Møre played an important role in the gathering of Norway of a kingdom under Harald Fairhair

The menu “Earl Møre”.
I create the menu “Earl Møre”, where I will rewrite history at the time there were earls in Norway and try to see the later history from the point of view of Earl Møre. First, it becomes important to acknowledge what Christianity gave us. Secondly, what the Renaissance, the Reformation, the Enlightenment and the great discoveries gave us.
The most valuable here are evangelical Christianity, modern science and technology. And human rights, they go well with evangelical Christianity. With rational insight, it is possible to choose the most valuableable and “get both in the bag and sack”. And I guess it must be a good deal for a modern “Earl Møre”.
“Sivert Earl Møre”.
When I write posts on this menu, I intend to use “Sivert Earl Møre” as an alias, to mark that I intend to represent the interests of my family and people and our country, and then I think first and foremost the Norvest country, Møre og Romsdal, I may well include Nordfjord as well, since Vanylven borders Nordfjord and my grandmother came from there.
Should I be the one to do that? Well, I can now try, but there is no hindrance for others also trying. When I write posts on the menu “Earl Møre”, I intend to use “Sivert Earl Møre” as an alias, to mark that I am trying to safeguard our interests in my way. But I would like to encourage others to do it their way as well, preferably by Earl Møre as a surname in an alias. If so, hope it will be constructive. I still want to argue a little bit that I’m right in trying, like I’m the right person to do it, but it does show itself by what I say and write.
When I started trawling, I was called Sivert, so my first home page I called tsivert.com. It became clear right away that I was doing a good job as a fisherman, so it was an honorable name for me. But since I kept breaking off and studying, it was long before I trawled for a long time, so I got promotion to a leading position as second boss on the trawl-deck. On trawling I worked in teams with a lot of people from Møre og Romsdal and from Nordfjord. On two boats I was elected to represent the crew in the sailors and fishermans Union. Later, on another boat I became second boss on the trawl-deck. I wrote in a newspaper, Sunnmørsposten, to try to safeguard our interests.
I’ve studied science, attended Christian meetings, and read the Bible. I guess that would make me competent for something. But how competent am I to safeguard my own interests and the interests of the people of this region? If I try to speak up for the interests of the people and even if I claim it, it is not at all certain the people will agree with it. But I can try and then we´ll see how it turns out. As I am enlightened and educated, I will try to speak the people’s interests with an enlightened rationality, but then it is essential that the individual shall be able to speak his own cause, then the whole people becomes able to do so. That’s also the point of the Christian revival.
The kinship is already noted as a good reason, so I want to write a little more about my genealogy. On my father’s side, I line up three times from Ragnvald Earl Møre. I searched for the Earl in my family tree and found it 17 gongs. Three of them were Earl Lade (Lade was a loading place for ships in Trondheimsfjorden), as I have one line from Einar Einrideson Tambarsjelvar through his wife, Bergljot Håkonsdatter, who was descended from Earl Lade for three generations.
I line up three times from king Harald Fairhair, through his three wives Ragnhild, Svanhild and Snøfrid. In the fourth generation after Snøfrid it is through two branches and in the fifth generation after Svanhild it is through three branches. In my geneology I find 12 kings, king Arnvid (35 generations), king Eirik (33g), king Gorm Knutson the Old One, king Harald Fairhair (33g), king Harald Hårdråde (29g), king Håkon Håkonson (22g), king Håkon Sverreson (23g), king Magnus Olavson Berrføtt (27g), king Olav Haraldson Kyrre (28g), king Sigurd Haraldson Munn (25g), king Svein Haraldson Tjueskjegg (the Danish king), king Sverre (Sigurdson? 29g).
Unification of Norway.
Harald Fairhair was a king who wanted to propose to a young woman named Gyda and was the daughter of a king in Hordaland. But she would not come to him until he had gathered Norway to a kingdom. Then he said he would not cut hair and beard before he had gathered Norway in one kingdom. Then he first asked small kings and earls to join him voluntarily to support him as Norway’s king, he was joined by Earl Lade and Ragnvald Earl Møre.
That Harald would gather Norway to a kingdom, to make Gyda his wife, seems adventurous. It may well be that he thought like this and there was a reason why he was nicknamed Fairhair. But in history, it is often told that a little king could make a friendship with another little king, by giving him his daughter as a wife. This was a political method also when a king would gather Norway to a kingdom, to receive support of small kings and earls. In this way a “great king” could make peacefull relation with another great king also.
Later Olav Tryggvasson tried to gather Norway with Christianity, and so did Olav the Holy Haraldson . In both cases, it was by making an appointment with the king of England and the resistance came from the king of Denmark. Norway became independent and received the written laws by Magnus Lagabøte and got his heyday.
Norway, a sound kingdom or independent kingdom?
Norway entered into a union with Denmark and Sweden. Sweden quickly pulled out again, but Norway became more and more a sound kingdom under Denmark.
Denmark-Norway was neutral during the Napoleon-wars, and that was a good time for Norwegian shipping-companies. It was important for Denmark not to get France as enemy and they feared the German army. For Norway it was important not to get Great Britain as enemy. But the British Navy attacked Copenhagen and partly destroyed the Danish-Norwegian fleet, so Denmark-Norway came on Napoleons side then. Through the deal with France, Norway got war with Sweden also. According to the peace-agreement in Kiel, Sweden should get Norway. The Swedish heir to the throne, Kristian August, died so they took one of the generals of Napoleon, Jean-baptiste Bernadotte as king, calling him Karl Johan. He knew that many Norwegians felt it quite wrong to be in war with Great Britain and he tried to make them support him as their king.
The king in Denmark-Norway, Fredrik 6, negotiated with Sweden in Kiel, but in 1813 the heir to the throne in Denmark-Norway, Kristian Fredrik, came to Norway and wanted to make it independent of Denmark. In a meeting on Eidsvoll 19.2.2022 he said he wanted to claim the throne as heir, but professor Georg Sverdrup told him that now it must be according to the popular sovereignty, so he didn´t call himself king, but regent. They also decided there should be elected representatives to a National Assambly that should give Norway a national covenant. So it did and also chose Kristian Fredrik as king. He hoped for help from Great Britain, but it didn´t come.
Now it came to war between Sweden and Norway, after nearly two weeks there was ceasefire, Kristian Fredrik had to give up his throne, Norway was forced into union with Sweden, under the Swedish, but after making some adjustments in the national covenant, the Norwegian parliament elected the Swedish king Karl 13 as their king. So now Norway was a nation with a covenant and a parliament, but in union with Sweden. In 1905 the union was over and Norway was independent.
With the Renaissance and the Enlightenment in Western Europe, there was also a renaissance of evangelical Christianity and then there came a philosophy of freedom, also freedom of the nationalities. With this thinking Norway freed itself from the “union” and got independent, virtually without the use of weapon, except for threatening.
Small kingdoms who got themselves a great king.
We can compare the small Viking kings to the ten generals in ancient Greece, but they managed to govern jointly, through democracy. On the home page https://faith-and-entropy.com/ , I have a menu that I call “profetiane in Bibelen”, (the prophecies), in which I write about this being prophesied. I mean they are the ten horns of the fourth animal in the Book of Daniel. And they are the ten horns of the Beast in Revelation, so it prophesies about the Renaissance. So it speaks of national liberation, but then the Beast also gains power as an over-nationality. So it still has actuality.
But then it is also prophesied that the Christians should triumph over them.
Revelation 17 This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated;
10 they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while.
11 As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.
12 And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast.
13 These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast.
14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”
Christ is the last Adam and his church is his bride.
In the second creation story, Adam and Eve are representative of the whole people before God, so it is also representative of all people and to all people. God created us and still does, both as individuals and as people. On the occasion of the fall of sin, they no longer understood it and hid from him with a guilty conscience. The man was sentenced to death.
But God reconciled the world with him, in that Christ died instead of us. On that basis, we may once again enter close society with Him, but now Christ is the last Adam, who is from heaven and who for us has become a life-giving spirit. He is the head of the man and the man is the head of the woman, in this way Christ is the head of the church that is his bride.
The Apostles and the first Christians preached the gospel with peaceful methods, even though they were persecuted. God was with them and did his work, so the church grew nonetheless. After a few hundred years, Christianity was legalized and then it was not long before it was made a state religion in the Roman Empire, the emperor would found his power on it.
Later there came a lot of war, also about religion, until the peoples found their rights in nationalities, also after a lot of war. But the gospel is and becomes a foundation upon which we, as God’s associates, are allowed to build the Church of Jesus, and it is still with peaceful methods. We get to build on that foundation, build education, work, economy and career, build marriage, family life, house and home. But the most valuable thing is what lasts, what is eternal, that we are saved, it is the work of God. So it’s important for us to let God do His work in our lives by His Word and the Holy Spirit.
A royal priesthood.
Peter told the Christians they are a royal priesthood.
1 . Pet.2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Christ is our priest and our advocate to the Father and He is king of kings. The priesthood of the old covenant are predecessor examples of the priesthood in the new covenant, but now priests do not have to bring any sin offerings anymore. Sin separated men from God, but with a sacrifice of sin, Jesus took away the sin once and for all, so he is a our priest forever. Before, only the Levitical high priest could enter the most holy chamber and only once a year, with sin offerings. But now Jesus has made the way for us into the heavenly sanctuary, so we can all go in and do priestly services in God’s sanctuary. We may come before the throne of grace and receive mercy and find grace to our own help in due time. We get to speak our own cause before the throne of grace, Christ is our priest and speaks our cause before the Father. This way we can also speak the case of others, even if they do not know it. Christ gives us spirit and life from heaven and wakes us up to live in communion with Him and the Father. With gifts of grace of the Holy Spirit he equips us to serve Him as a royal priesthood, for He is our high priest and our king.
Thus he can also enable us to speak the cause of the people, for Christ is the Messiah of God, God has anointed him to be our high priest and our salvation king at his right hand in heaven. Therefore, we want to introduce Him this way to the people through His Church and I feel confident that He enables us to represent Him as well, that is my goal and my purpose.
Jesus told me to use what I’ve been given.
This summer, Jesus told me that I love him, I am his associate, and he rejoices over me. He also said that I should preach to other people and lead them to him, then he would rejoice even more over me. And I´m sure that makes me rejoice.
In 1990, he called me on the path to the New Jerusalem, it comes down on the new earth, so it now seems rather distant. But I was his servant in his sanctuary, so I would go the way he has made for me into the heavenly sanctuary. So I was walking by faith, as we see in Heb. 11.
In the fall of 2008, he called me to go out on the promises, to go into doings he had prepared for me. I should go into his dimensions, yes, but now it also became clear that I had to move physically. So I went to Oslo, studied practical pedagogy and then real science again.
In the autumn 2021 he called me to walk with him again, so I thought about opening the books of real science again and freshening up the knowledge a little, especially mathematics and mathematical sciences, such as physics and chemistry. Because he told me not to look at what I don’t have, but what I have and what I’m good at and use what he’s given me. Yes, he has now given me both a gift of grace and a natural gift, so it is about using it.
Still I have just been thinking of it, but I have tried to use it in my writing on the internet, in this way I have been free to use what I have learned, both in science and in the Bible. He has said he will use me in the coming time and I’m going to use what he’s given me. I will wholeheartedly stick with him, and then he will come to my aid with his power (2.Chronicles.16,9), in this way I expect him to give me help in the form of a wife, as a gift of grace.
At the last meeting (Ascension Day of Christ 27.5.2022) he said that I should take myself seriously and take him seriously. So I replied that then I shall have her body and he shall have the body of the church that is his bride. And in this meeting (Sunday 27.5.2022) he reminded us that we should come to Him, all of us who are struggling and have heavy loads to bear, with Him we get rest. Yes, it is clear that if I were to take responsibility for her body, as a husband, with family and the whole package, it would be labor-demanding and require good finances. I think it was something that we understood we had to be prepared for, already as children, and in this way we had to consider how education would be to us. Demands and expectations of education could also be perceived as heavy burdens or would it be a way to get rid of burdens? So here it became important to consider what was appropriate for what. Then it is important to come to Jesus with the burdens, yes, why should we carry heavy burdens when we don´t need to?
Matt.11: 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
What is spirit is spirit and what is flesh is flesh (John.3,6). Jesus gives spirit to our spirits and lives to our souls. Christ died in the flesh, but was made alive in the Spirit (1.Pet.3,18) so the Spirit He gives us is sovereign over flesh and the physical nature. So it’s important for us to be filled by the Holy spirit, by His anointing and His power. He gives it to by mere grace, it is like he covers tables for us and it´s just for us to come and eat. Our bodies are temples to the Holy Spirit and at the Lord’s table we receive spiritual food, both for spirit, soul, and body.
In the message 17.2.2013, Jesus said to me :
“Yes, once again I have spoken to you, through my Word and by the Holy Spirit, and to awaken your pure conscience, that you should look upon me, I who am the author and finisher of faith, you shall see me through all things, in all the conditions and customs of life (Then I thought of the woman I call Virtually and then the woman I call Really). Because you’ve had rehearsals and you think in your heart, it’s no use. But come to me, all who are struggling and hard to bear and I will give you rest.
I want to give you a wonderful and glorious rest. A rest that you can´t understand with your human mind. But I will give you rest in your heart and mind, that you may trust me at all times, that I am who I have said to be and I will lead you out of the trouble. And you shall praise me, and you shall honor me, for I the Lord am the one who loves you, I am the one who has lifted you up, and I am the one who leads you. And when you look at me, you’re not going to go wrong, but you’re going to experience a voice behind you that says, “This is the way, walk on it.”
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Virtually and Really, but it’s the Holy Spirit that reveals and glorifies Christ to me, so I can still see him in my relationship with them, he is the originator of the faith and will fulfill it both for me and for them. He would make me a conduit for his blessing, so I imagine he makes me a conduit for his blessing to them. By blessing me, he also blesses them. I am blessed with him, and they are blessed with me and him, he gives them spirit and life, wakes them up to life in fellowship with him and the Father.
Virtually lived in a love affair with Christ, as His bride and in a love affair with the Father, as His child. She thanked God and the Lamb for salvation, praised Christ as her Savior, Lord, and Groom. And I want her to still do that, and I want Really to do that, too. And in the Christian Church, which is the bride of Christ and the wife of Christ and thus helps him. Thus, I expect that He will also give me help in the form of a wife, as the overriding purpose is for us as Christ’s Church to help him. Then it’s Really I think about that way.
Here’s a point about me studying science and seeing it as a call from Jesus, that I served him with it. Really also studied science, biology. I imagine that as Christ’s Church, we serve him with it, so we are of help to him with it, as his bride, since he is Truth. And when he gives me a wife, she becomes of help to me, as my bride and we become of help to him, as his bride.
By faith in Christ, we are allowed to come into God’s rest (Heb.3–4), for it is he who does His work with us, His creations are completed, and His work of salvation is completed and perfect. That rest is the starting point for all our service. So we have to thank God and the Lamb for salvation. Then we’ll be equipped to serve him in his Holy Spirit.
